i like pretty much everything but if you forced me to name a specific genre it would be "sophistipop" or that really glossy jazzsynthpopwhatever stuff the brits were cranking out during the first half of the 80s. prefab sprout, scritti politti, etc.

I don't know what my genre is but I love the bands of Bloc Party and The Rasmus, favourite songs from both being Song For Clay (Disappear Here) and Lost And Lonely
