make it balanced, pick the level’s mechanics to build upon and listen to feedback. make sure the aesthetics do not tamper with the gameplay.

aesthetic design=/=mechanical level design

the best way to learn good level design is to just play good levels, steal the stuff you like, and frankenstein it together to make a good level.

making a good level takes a few days too so try not to lose motivation!

i dont know
Try to pick a really cool gimmick. A lot of my levels have gimmicks such as "what if you entered a portal and all the kinematics stopped?" or "what if the speed panels lasted for 3 picoseconds so you had to keep on collecting them to stay in speed mode?" or "what if we inverted EVERYTHING?" or "what if checkpoints and the NPC bounces and I-frames had actual gameplay use?" You get it. If you want my help finding gimmicks, I'd suggest looking at the inverted versions of blocks and then trying to stitch them together alongside some normal blocks.

well think about levels you really enjoy. take all the parts you like about them and spin it into your own thing. There are rules and common tropes that will get you a mock standard "good" level. But what makes a good level in my eyes is the clear passion and vision behind it.

TL;DR just take the stuff you enjoy about levels from any game really and apply it to bopimo!

There are a lot of awful gimmicks doe like biiwa, everything is ice, you either move way too slow or too fast or millions other examples on bopimo.

Picking a really cool gimmick over a horrible gimmick is easier said than done
