I have been trying to make a project of mine in the level editor, and so far, it's looking good (I guess...)! However, I have noticed an issue that I would like to talk about as well as a feature I would like to see get added.
The first thing I would like to talk about is a problem about the editing of individual parts. Using miniature icons is a good way of showing the player what button does what as well as allowing them to use each button like a draggable object is good. Not only that, but the fact that the buttons only show up upon hovering your cursor on the side of an object is a good idea. However, it can also be annoying, as trying to edit thin platforms can become a problem. Having all of the options as different transparent figures could be a better idea.
The second is a feature I wish for the staff to add, which is object cloning. Having a clear button for cloning selected objects could be revolutionary, as it would remove the need to go through the list of objects to then do the same thing you did 15 seconds ago. It could help in, for example, building "custom" walls for a building or scattering a specific object around a location.
Please, if you, the person who is reading this, are a staff member, think about my words for even just a few seconds. I really do believe they could help with editing stuff in the editor. Thank you for your time and have a good rest of your day.
