fun fact: the banana sweets you can get from pick-a-mix have the taste of a real banana! that banana is called Gros Michel and is quite rare, but they used to be common before a fungus wiped out commercial crops in the 20th century.

that’s why you think they dont taste like banana: it’s because the banana taste they’re based on isnt sold anymore in supermarkets
