What if instead of making new shapes, Firecat instead adds only 3 types of polyhedron in the editor that can can have their number of faces customized.
They would be called:
-Prism
-Pyramid
-Platonic Solid
Based on: https://www.geeksforgeeks.org/maths/polyhedrons/
And that's pretty much everything anybody would ever need. Instead of the extremely redundant pentagon, hexagon, septagon and octagon in the shapes menu, having a prism with a setting where someone can just tweak the number of faces from 3 (triangular prism/ramp) to 8 (octagon) and beyond would basically stop most people from asking for more because they'd have almost everything they need.
Yes that would cover the sphere, cylinder and cone shapes because they can just make a prism, pyramid or solid with 100 faces.
Yes the only reason I thought of that is because of this thread I also commented on, https://www.bopimo.com/forums/thread/4210 but I still feel like it would be a much better idea in the long run than having to manually add all the shapes into the editor. Also a mask instead of adding every hollowed out shapes (like the hollow cube and the hollow cylinder), that would get rid of another problem and would add so much with very little.
Idea!

On top of what firecat already said, I feel like a feature that allows you to just "make your own shapes" would really take away from bopimo's identity as this 3D equivalent to mario maker, which is also a game that is particularly unique due to it's limitations and the ways people try to work around them(and yes, i know nintendo's moderation team is braindead and hates fun, but the point still stands)
Seeing how far you can go within limitations breeds creativity and stuff or whatever the saying is, idk its 11 pm for me but i hope this makes at least some sense
