I'm gonna be real and say I think Firecat needs to allow people to create faces just like they can create shirts, pants and shoes and my excuse is that it takes specialized software to make meshes (Blender) while faces are just a 2d image anyone can make with paint or gimp or tux paint.

Faces just isn't something they can make on a whim because they're very limited with what they can make. They could release each facial expression with different eye colors, but that's it, hats and toys are really what should remain official due to both the fact it takes learning 3d modeling to make, but they can get very creative with it imo.

Ok I hate to be rude but that's a horrible plan. Do you realize how much people would just copy R*bl0x faces in bulk? Also, Bopimo faces have a specific style to them, and making custom faces would cause faces to lose that singular unified style.
