Is there a polite way to ask people to stop "trying" to help me or give me unnecessary tips? Emphasis on "trying"
The backstory:
Had that happen on a hard level, dude was actually level 7 and was insistent on trying to teach me how to do water dives when I already knew how to do them and didn't even understand how I was trying to beat this section. The problem with this level was that those water dives are tricky, so for a bit I was trying to clear this section with double jumps insead of dives, like instead of dive > air jump, I was doing it the other way around air jump > dive. Imean earlier there was another section involving water dives and I passed it and the dude was still like "do this, do that" even though if I passed the same challenge but easier they should know I know my way around, eventually they left me alone, but then they did it to some other dude in the level that I assume actually needed the help, but the yapping intensified so much that I had to mute them both because the speech bubbles were messing with me.
I just angrily typed something along those lines "this level is already starting to get under my skin and yall are getting on my nerves even more with your yapping, you're all getting muted"
So next time this may happen, what would be the best course of action? I could just mute everyone on the spot, but that feels pretty rude especially since they might not understand why I'm ignoring them/not replying back.
How do I deal with unsolicited advice on bopimo?

"Hey, could you please stop backseating me? (optional) [I appreciate your help, but] I'd like to figure out the level by myself"
You can also toggle off chat bubbles in the options in the GUI tab if they bother you
Maybe I'm missing some context but I hope you didn't go straight away for that 3-liner, pretty rad I guess, but kinda uncalled for if the guy had no idea
