This sounds like you're on a laptop and you're using the trackpad built into it(the flat thing below the keyboard that moves the cursor, you're incorrectly calling it a mouse), I'm speaking from experience here as something that sounds like this happened all the time on my old laptop whilst playing roblox when I was a kid.
But once again, no 3D game is designed with trackpads in mind, you really do need a mouse or you're just playing the game wrong, I'm sorry
Wanna hear a funny joke? I do use a real cheap computer mouse and could even send you a picture of it. The brand is called Isy and it's a cyan mouse with a bright red light inside it. I don't know if you can even find it on google since I checked and it gives me a lot of unrelated gaming mice in the search results. That's the thing right, is your mouse a gaming mouse? Is this why the game acts differently for you than it does for me?
That being said, I agree with Dew, doubly so if I have to pay 90-something for a gaming mouse in order to play without problems. Why can't bopimo just work like the first person mode all the time regardless of what anybody is using to play it? Trackpad, pointing nub, a non-gaming mouse, yada yada.
If I have to, I'll try to save up next year to buy a Razer or something, but it feels like a waste of money because I rarely use my computer to play video games anymore.

I use a wired office mouse that was made by HP probably in either the 2000s or early 2010s, I think gamerslop is a waste of money
I also wasn't trying to be rude, I was just guessing what the problem could be based off of personal experiences
