Why do we compare Bopimo with Polytoria

Bopimo! and Polytoria are both completely different things with different gameplay, financial and community goals (Platformer, Not focused on profiting, upcoming console support, etc). I get it, theres a forum for the game, avatar customization, user generated bopi accesories and the whole thing spins around people making levels. But i feel like this sorta gives Bopimo! a different look than the one it has for no reason at all.
It doesn't annoy me nor i care but it's more of a community poll than a rant

this is a greater problem than just that
bopimo isn't just being compared with polytoria, it often gets lumped in with it under the umbrella of "roblox clones" or "sandbox games" as if it's similar or even identical to them in any way past the surface level (site appearance/layout, basic features like having an avatar and being able to customise it, the fact it has forums, the fact you make things people play etc.)
people don't think, they see the superficial similarities and inspirations bopimo has or has drawn from and they assume it's trying to be some sort of roblox competitor or roblox clone and don't even look at the gameplay before assuming it's the same as all those other dumpster fires (a la brickplanet, blox city, brick hill etc.)
these same people later get frustrated at the lack of limiteds, lack of trading, the fact scripting doesn't exist and so on without even caring about what bopimo is trying to be, that being anything but a cookie-cutter roblox clone like so many other games it gets compared to are (new players can ask about those features and that's fine as long as they understand that that's not what bopimo's trying to be when it's explained)
