Will we ever get new gamemodes? (Or scripting)

Do you guys think we'll ever get new gamemodes or scripting added? Or is bopimo too homosexual to add that?

Gamemodes is a big maybe, i can see it happening in the lens of the game still being a platform, scripting is likely a big no-no though, at most i could see triggers like in geometry dash being added

iirc triggers and events ARE planned (or were planned in modern pre-release)

Back in december 2024 or january 2025 I think luke was talking about pestering firecat to add some kind of battle pvp mode thing so Maybe that'll happen

I don't really see where that fits into a speed running platform game, the furthest away I think they'd stray is a racing mode but I doubt that'd ever happen ether.

The point is to make it more then just a speed running platform. Theres so much more that could be done with the game's client.

it's not necessarily a speedrunning platform. it's a platformer game and it'll stay a platformer game. triggers will exist eventually that'll let you connect components together and make levels more interesting, complex and unique - but writing custom scripts will never happen
