does the debug screen lag regardless of if a level has NPCs or not?

For me it really depends most of the levels i use the F3 button doesnt lag a lot like performance decreases but not a lot only in Domas Loaf 100 but i think its becuase of my specs
I have a Rx7900XTX and a Ryzen 5 9600X so i think thats why also i use windows if you are wondering
