as a poor person myself working on a roblox clone it would make sense to use p2p but if you are rich then dedicated servers are goo

It’s nothing about money; if you use peer to peer, you are giving all network authority to one person. Players would be free to cheat in any way possible because it would give one person access to sensitive apis, they could just grant items to themselves, etc.
