TOTD started as a level design study project where i would make a somewhat difficult, short-medium sized obstacle course that would be part of a bigger level, each with it's own theme and gimmick, everyday or more than once a week.
Before starting this series i was not expecting it to be traited well by the community, and it would have the same reputation that daily clear creators have. But over the lapse of time, things turned out to be the opposite, and i fear it has become too much of a big thing in this community.
Recently, i have been doubting on discontinuating the TOTD series, due to the lack of free time that i have and lack of ideas.
I would be interested in expanding trials to the point where it's a full level, that doesn't follow the straight-forward format that the series has, while keeping the daily worlde-esque style that TOTD is based off, but as i clarified before, i don't have enough time to do so.
I appreciate a lot the effort that has been put into speedrunning my levels and the fan-made content such as FMTOTD and others, but it was for sure something that i would have never expected to happend.
The conclusion here is that there won't be another TOTD, at least an official one. Things may change over time but this is my current and mostly final statement for this series.
