How does the Positioning system work?

Trying to make something move but I'm not exactly sure how this works, I have two coordinates but it doesn't move between them; and the stuff under "points" which you can move around do not seem to do much either

Ah, it's based on relative coordinates, and not global ones (not block position directly)
