What does the "Return to Spawner" toggle do?

It's in the "Bopi Spawner" options menu and i'm a bit unsure what it does...

If a Spawned Bopi gets displace due to a ground pound/boost pad/portal/whatever moving object, the Return To Spawner toggle will make the Bopi go back to where the spawner is located.
