For me, I launch a game and nothing happens, and when I launch the .exe it tells me "Can't launch without protocol"

same things happening to me aswell. I thought it was windows defender at first, but if it actually is server issues like people are saying then thats kinda sucks. How am I supposed to play the motherfucking riser now?

Yeah, because the servers seem really unstable at the moment. Now during launch day, I am guessing that they didn't expect this many people to play at once, so the servers are currently under extreme stress which is causing the servers to disconnect constantly. Don't quote me on this since I don't really know what is happening behind the scenes.
