I don’t even think the “hanging bopi” GIF is funny, and it’s not because it’s a suicide joke or anything like that. The main reason it doesn’t amuse me at all is simply because I’ve seen it way too many times already. Back when I was actively searching for genuinely good and creative Discord stickers, that GIF would show up constantly, over and over again, to the point where it completely lost any novelty it might have had. When you’re exposed to the same thing repeatedly like that, it stops feeling original, and it just becomes predictable and tiresome.

At this point, it’s been more than a year since that GIF was first created, and honestly, it feels like it overstayed its welcome a long time ago. It probably should have faded into obscurity before it even reached the audience of people who only use the Bopimo site, because now it just feels like it’s lingering far past its natural lifespan. Instead of being something fresh or clever, it comes across as overused and worn out, and seeing it again doesn’t provoke any reaction from me other than mild annoyance and boredom. It’s basically an example of a meme that kept circulating long after it stopped being interesting.
