im not too active on here as originally stated so im not sure how many community members are against expanding bopimo but its literally undeniable the current formula is not working out, i love platforming and i think platforming being a major part of bopimo should remain, but the proof that the current form does not work is staring everyone in the eyes, unless theres an event going on the max amount of players youll see online is like 3. bopimo will not survive and thrive like it deserves to if it continues to be restrained to what it is now

I think Bopimo just found the wrong audience. This is obvious. It targets to people who like platformers, but its demographics are people who want to play Roblox clones. These people come here expecting scripting and fully fledged games, but only see that it’s a platformer, so they leave. These people are asking for cheeseburgers in a Mexican restaurant.

And, there might be a reason for low retention but im not a game designer so i dont know. Might be the long time to make levels with the janky editor, or lack of editor doodads to make complex contraptions. This game rewards you if your level is good-looking, or fun by featuring you, but to my knowledge they don’t get you much coins or exp.

I’m not treating my words as a profound eureka moment discovery since these are basically obvious when you play it for a few months. I’m just giving my two cents.

100% yeah, but i dont think you can really blame people? i feel like the system is so restrictive its only natural to want something more, and i dont even mean super crazy out of left field stuff like fps games or whatever, but i think most would consider the current loop of bopimo incredibly stale, if they dont agree, then id like to know why they arent playing it ever since nobody is ever on. i really think expanding on what you can make is the way to go, although as i said i wouldnt go too far the other way, lol
