If I could make triggerable events for kinetics, then level variations will improve greatly.
Why it feels like the player base is dead is because the cycle for playing a game is join/beat level/dip or the other path being too hard/quit. Bopimo doesn't have grindable games with save states and as far as I seen wasn't intended to be that type of game.
The only thing you can do in the community as a normal player is spend a large amount of time to get a level featured or perchance on the weekly or fight with people on the forums.
Bopimo will continue to stay like this Aswell as being dead like this because it's too unoptimized. water is the most used thing to build levels but for every instance it touches makes it impossible for people with cheap pcs to run it.
Would people make the switch to bopimo if they could run it? no
Bopimo requires a player to remember all the movements and utilize them for basically every level they join (you could fault the player for not knowing) or you can realize that there is no proper navigation for new players to get introduced to the game properly it's just goto Bopimo tutorials then beat hard asf levels "get better kid"
Our grading system of levels with stars of general rating and difficulty is flawed
you have testers but nothing for testers to do they can grade maps by genuine difficulty and have them cycle through a page of decent maps in assorted difficulty for newcomers to learn Bopimo properly sure this isn't an absolute solution but look at the event levels and tell me do you fault the new players to want to quit?
It's like being fed Kaizo mario and being told to enjoy it.
Bopimo is enjoyed by a select few and will continue to stay that way
bopimo is kinda boring now

Bopimo is a 3D platformer and will stay that way. Until it ends, the main point of what it started with is probably going to be what it ended with. I'm pretty much sure firecat wants Bopimo to just be a 3D platformer game, which is the reason we won't get much updates
Nobody wants to admit it, however some roblox features will be really good with Bopimo, but nobody wants to say this because "eww roblox bopimo isn't a roblox clone" but in reality some things might be great for it
I do not want Bopimo to become roblox'ish, but I want some things integrated into it. Things like more advanced PVP, more features, etc. Bopimo is dying because everything is the same, play levels, speedrun them, make levels, and that's really it there's nothing much else
Bopimo just needs more players and things in it, and turning it into a sandbox would be way better than a platformer tbh. We also need more items and I'm not kidding this time
yes I haven't been on bopimo for 2 months or over and I honestly couldn't care less I will share my opinions whether you like it or not. You also might say I just want bopimo to be like roblox, which isn't true LMAO, this game has a vibe to it which I love. I also love speedrunning so much I'm better than a lot of players, but yeah that's really all that I have to say
Bopimo also needs item makers, which will be GREAT but obviously firecat doesn't want them and wants us to be greatful, however none of them are online so

yeah, i agree. kinda like another forum post, it would be cool if there were different gamemodes. ik Bopimo is supposed to be just platformer but it would be cool if there were other things to do than just that.

yes! i feel like more people would have the motivation to play more if progress saved as well. i get that it would ruin the whole world record thing, but like i said before it would work for large levels with maybe a different setup than the usual speedrun-focused thing. a good example would be the donut lenn adventure things

I think the game might improve over the years. I'll bet that (permitting the game isn't abandoned) Bopimo will be more interesting in like 2028, but for now I think it's in an early stage. Of course, I'm just a newgen, so I might not be the most knowledgeable but whatever .-.

I feel like a lot of people say that stuff such as gamemodes and items would destroy bopimos current identity but I disagree, gamemodes such as tag, hide and seek or bopimo racing (without cars) would work perfectly with bopimos movement system and would open up so many more unique ways for people to design levels and would also give the game more replayability outside of daily clears which tbh are really boring to do and feel pointless.
