Saw it on a shirt and I bookmarked the url, it's kinda dead.

A bunch of people involved with Bopimo such as the owners and most of the tester program know the owner of that site (Dylan/Ezcha) through a different sandbox game which shut down a while back. Dylan is a tester at Bopimo as well and uploaded the shirt as a joke. Theres no professional ties between the two just a casual developer friendship. I think FireCat may have helped around with a few things on Ezcha.net tho.

This only shares a name because some of the current owners had some involvement in the older one. This one has no real ties with the 2018 Bopimo and only shares a name because the owners of this Bopimo thought it was a good name and bought it off the old owner of the domain. Other than that they have no relation, it originally wasn't gonna be called Bopimo iirc.

was the source code of the site also part of that purchase? because in some places it does look eerily similar
also, did vertineer or classic bopimo come first?

I think Vertineer since I used to hear about it around the same time simples' Bopimo was new

Yeah his username was "simples"
Oh yeah and around August/September 2018, FireCat got banned from Bopimo and his username was reset to [deleted 3] cause of his ID being 3. Not sure why that happened, but I think it was some botting issue since 5-7 other deleted accounts added me. His account was reinstated days/a week later
