This is in terms of level creation, how much detail do you feel a level needs and/or is enough for a level?
Do you like levels that contain loads of detail in terms of their decoration or would you prefer nice-looking levels that are simple in their design and decoration?
If you answer to either of these explain your reasoning, thanks!
How much decoration is enough in Bopimo! levels?

I think this depends on the type of level
id say for more gameplay oriented levels, decoration can be simple as long as it isnt terrible to look at, if your focusing on the gameplay you probably wont care that much about the not that much decoration, you basiccly just need a theming and stick to simple things, take gilded glideway for example, that level dosent have much decoration, but for what it does it works, and its a gameplay oriented level so it dosent need much, this can go for other levels like Aggregate and other things.
if your level isnt too gameplay focused, or has a different type of gameplay such as a find the stars level, adding more decoration would be nice, as you can actually take it in and look at all the little details.

Honestly, i really like showcases level, i might be weird but when i see shiwcase level i always admire the geometry of the builds lmaoo
But sometimes if you want to make a long gameplay wise level, i would prefer for you to make the spawn area and the final part of the level detailed and make the middle part of the level pretty simple

in order for it to feel like a respectable level, it should have at least as much decoration as casa de galunga imo. simple designs only work for short levels

decoration is entirely optional but appreciated in most cases
it's important, however, to balance out simplicity and style. if you add too much decor you'll eat up to the block limit super quickly, and if you add next to none your level can look bad and low-effort
that's not to say a level with little decoration isn't good however, all it needs is for the lack of decor to be done right
take gray parkour for example - the pinnacle of entry-level hard levels, yet has little to no decoration aside from colour variation among different segments of it. i'd say its simplicity adds to the level rather than detracts from it

this is, to say, for star collection levels whose main point is the gameplay. if you're making a small showcase then prioritise decor as that's what visual showcases are about (unless they're technical showcases but nobody does those cause bopimo tech builds suck)
i hope what i'm saying makes sense

IF YOUR LEVEL DOESN'T HAVE CUSTOM MADE DECORATIONS, DECALS, NEARLY REACHED THE BLOCK LIMIT, AND PERFECT COLOR CHOICE, CONSIDER YOURSELF BANNED FROM BOPIMO!...
...Is what I would say if i was a completely despicable hypocrite. If anything, decor should be subtle and not in your face. I believe the real thing you should be worried about when making levels is making the right atmosphere through the use of level settings.
Also, while this isn't related to decor, it's also important not to go too over the top with nametags, it's just makes the level look sloppy. (at least to me)

ok in retrospect that sounds a bit rude but i didn't mean to offend anyone.
Those who do like to use decor are not "Completely despicable," "Wrong," or "hypocritical." Also sorry for taking that stereotype of intricate detail enjoyer way too far. Sorry if you felt offended.
Have a good day everyone, no hate to any of you.
